George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Kevin investigated our job telling us our roof needed felting, quoted 6k for the job, when asked, he said this would be the price, no other additions or costs. They later found the original fault we suspected and charged about 500 to resolve with the related damage. The final price of the job had VAT and other additions to a total of 8.5k. If money is no object I'm sure they will do a good job, but certainly as pensioners we don't have this much to spare.
