Phil is an excellent tradesman - we had him replace some skirting boards, door frames and picture rails in 2 rooms. He was very reliable, reasonably priced and worked to our budget, his craftsmanship was very good, he was a quick (and tidy) worker, and he gave us plenty of extra advice and tips for other rooms. Additionally, he went out of his way to help us arrange getting some door restored by one of his contacts. Would thoroughly recommend and have saved his details for use in the future! Thanks Phil!

Steve is really good at what he does. Reasonably priced, quick and good quality. He is also very helpful and gave good advice on other issues I faced. I will be using him again next year when I tackle some more rooms in the house.

Fast work however great at time. We've noticed a lot of chipped tiles and missing grout. I've tried to patch up. Also uneven in places. I should have checked more clearly. They turn up.on time etc but check work after........more thoroughly than I did.

We've all heard about those builders that start a job and then disappear leaving it half done, never to return. Well Tom is definitely NOT one of those. He and his very friendly team always worked hard, were flexible around our needs and even did some weekends to ensure the build finished as close to the agreed finish date as possible. No project is without its hiccups, but Tom and his crew were incredibly solution focussed. If you want someone that cares about their work, give Tom and A1 Builders a call.

I honestly can’t recommend these guys enough! Having been let down a few times it so refreshing to have a company that want to work. All my message’s were returned promptly and turned up when arranged . There work was spot on and they were lovely to have around , really helpful and respectful in the house . Ccb sent me with a formal quote via this site to undertake; leadwork, repair broken rooftiles, put in garage drainage and provide a quote for painting the external wall. The rooftiles were not repaired, others were broken as the leadwork was done. The drainage is incomplete and Chris Cook collected the money for the painting on 7 July and has disappeared with £220>00 which is dishonest.I have made many, many attempts to contact him to return my funds. Dont trust this builder
