I particularly specialise in the causes of damp, damp- proofing solutions, plaster boarding/plastering. Bricklaying (internal and external), blockwork and stud walling. I have also successfully undertaken work in many areas of home and garden improvement/repair/maintenance, a selection including - the installation of skirting boards, internal door adjustments and re-hanging doors, laying laminate and engineered wood flooring and the assembly of flat-pack furniture. Removal and replacement of guttering, drainpipes, fascia and soffits. Decking, garden walling, handrails, patios and steps to accommodate sloping gardens. Completed resurfacing outside our business premises in December. The work was carried out promptly. BUT after a few months the surface started breaking down. A call was made. The contractor came, looked and said sorry but the work was for domestic purpose not business. It is blatantly obvious that this is a side road and as such will be used more than in a domestic situation. I have not seen him since. I would not have any work done by this company again.
I'm a plumber by trade but specialise in kitchen and bathroom refurbishments and full home refurbishments to the customers specification and budget. many happy customers as my review's reflect.
I would recommend to anyone who asks about Darren, everything from the initial contact through to the work and all the finishing touches and extra little things that he did for my dad in sorting out unexpected items or things throughout the job.
"Better way of building"
We agreed a price he turned up the first day and filled in some places but then didn’t turn up again until I called him. He then decided he could not do part of the job so we renegotiated the price minus the rendering the fascia work. He put filler everywhere and left so much dust and filler and then again txted me to say he wanted more money to complete job , the same as original price but he was doing half the work, I said no and I didn’t hear from him again. He left the exterior in a terrible state.
Came back with an accurate quick quote.
