George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Quoted and arrived on time, we never proceeded with the work but there is no option to remove job or decline without filling this in. Have written to Rated people...the Plonkers didn't respond. Rated people t ssers
Overall a really nice person but whilst the pointing work was ok, the rest of the work was a bit below atandard. My thatcher came to do the byannual inspection and was critical of the concreting and flashing particularly as the lead flashing had been used under the concrete not around the chimney as expected. He also though the price was very expensive for the work as the flashings had not been done properly. However, had the flashing been done correctly the price would have been a competetive one

I am awestruck by this guy. We discussed and agreed a price for the job. We lined up decorators and carpet fitters to follow his work and prepared teh spaces for him to work. On the morning he was due to start he texted me to tell me he could no longer do the job as "my van is off the road" and "I can't contact my so-called partner Tim". I tried to call him straight back to see if we could salvage the project either by hiring a van for the few days needed or finding a labourer to help. JUST A TEXT! Be wary!
Alex was very straight forward and easy to deal with. He was also recommended by my builder. He was very thorough. He took photographs of areas of concern and discussed the work with us before he went ahead. I was very happy with the work and the cost and am now confident that my roof will live another few years.

Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.

The worst roofing company that you can get. All the brackets off the gutters are moving , the soffits are moving , so if the wind is blowing towards you can’t sleep. They cutdown the underlay when they were supposed to just push it back . When asked to come back to sort it out they said if they are coming they would be taking the whole thing down. The only good thing they done is cut down from the price so they don’t come back to properly finish the job. It’s got one star just because I can’t give them 0.
