I am awestruck by this guy. We discussed and agreed a price for the job. We lined up decorators and carpet fitters to follow his work and prepared teh spaces for him to work. On the morning he was due to start he texted me to tell me he could no longer do the job as "my van is off the road" and "I can't contact my so-called partner Tim". I tried to call him straight back to see if we could salvage the project either by hiring a van for the few days needed or finding a labourer to help. JUST A TEXT! Be wary!

Mr.Shepherd is a good bricklayer. Unfortunately he finds it difficult to maintain punctuality, completion dates and financial balancing.With regret I have to say that honesty and integrity are not his strong points.

Punctuality?.....I'm self employed Completion date.... I started work at the start of April. It rained for a month Financial balancing?...... Even though it rained. I was still expected to turn up to do a couple of hours work.this was an extra cost. Then I was told I was behind program. Then got extra help at more cost. Honesty...... A couple of design issues rose. I could have walked

Off the job and charged for loss of earnings, but I carried on. I never received praise, only pressure for more.

Ed did a great job of some tricky interior renovation in my Victorian terraced house. It's really transformed the space and was all finished off very cleanly. Was great at keeping me up to date on the progress and a really decent guy. Comes recommended
