Routine boiler service. Service person advised boiler likely to need replacing very soon, though nothing urgent and boiler “passed” okay. Following service, boiler was making strange noises. It then started to get error codes. Speaking with a gas safe person, I was guided to check the condensate trap. This was full of sediment, which should have been cleared during service. This raised alarm bells… a separate gas engineer kindly then opened the flame area up to find a load of dirt (service step to clean)…

We had a great experience with OL & Edward. Livia was amazing and very persistent in finding the perfect replacement for our sink. We were trying to replace a broken sink with an identical version. Our sink had a very particular design and had been discontinued in the early 2000s, but Livia did not stop until she found the exact replacement. I am now qualified to a “C&G’s level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations“ (domestic electrician),this includes being competent in testing, diagnosis and fault finding in regards to 1st phase electricity. I am familiar with all electrics that tie in with domestic household/ dwellings ie lighting/ ring mains, radial, cookers circuits etc. I am a fan of customer care which I value wholeheartedly as I enjoy fulfilling customers expectations as best as I can. I am honest as I have had customers issuing me their front door keys if the job takes longer than a day, i am an easy going person who enjoys customer and worker relations but I always concentrate on getting the job in hand done leaving the customer happy and satisfied and also making them feel that the job I did was money well spent. My prices are reasonable to good and I always issue an invoice and receipt.

Jobs I undertake are general handyman job like electrical, plumbing, central heating, power flushing central heating, painting decorating,kitchen and bathroom refit, fencing and groundworks. You can really do just about anything! How I normally charge is call out charge of £100 this covers the first hour then £50 an hour thereafter plus materials/ parking. Some services are charged at a different rate for example: emergency call out and weekend rate is normally higher rate. • power flush to central heating system charge is £450 including all chemicals and inhibitor to the system this covers six radiators any more than 6 radiators there is an extra charge at £100 per radiator extra .
