Required a bit of an awkward shaped worktop to be installed.Two successive joiners from Rated People agreed to conduct the works but both frequently kept cancelling,turning up late and not responding to calls/texts. I went back to the website a third time and found Alasdair who agreed to the job.Unlike the other two companies,he turned on time and didn't let me down. Sam impressed from the off when invited out to provide a quotation, asking pertinent questions I had not even considered. Before work commenced he ensured a meeting with my architect and ran through technical specs. The work itself has surpassed our aspirations. He kept the site tidy throughout and it is clear he takes pride in his work. is communication throughout was also excellent, often using his initiative when a cost neutral desicion needed to be made, but checking with me for all else.

After getting a reasonable quote for the work, Mr Rankine was then able to start the work at a time which suited my husband and myself. The work was done to a high standard, which was plastering three walls in a bedroom. Am very pleased with the end result, the walls now look brilliant, lovely smooth finish and ready for painting. If I needed any more plastering work done in the future I would definitely use Mr Rankine again.
