At quotation stage you will have access to my portfolio which includes my qualification certificates, proof of liability insurance, client references and previous works so you can be confident of whom you're allowing into your home. We generally operate on a word of mouth basis using Rated People to fill gaps in our diary as such we are unlikely to achieve the hundreds of feedback ratings of some but the quality of the reviews we do obtain will be high.
A fantasic experience all round. Andy responded, spoke courteously on the phone and provided an estimate, popped in to 'survey' my spec, gave valuable advice and confirmed his quote inside 3 hours. Andy realigned his diary and next day was at my house, right on cue. My water damaged ceiling, complete with hole, is now a thing of the past. Excellent workmanship and an excellent result. Oh, and a thoroughly nice chap! I'll certainly use Andy again and would have no hesitation in recommending his services.

You know how builders start a job and then mysteriously disappear for days on end without warning? And then leave the last few jobs unfinished while they go off and start something else? James doesn't do any of this. At all. He's a builder for the 21st century. He sends pics and updates via social media and sorts out problems when he's not around. He gives good prices, but in the end leaves you hanging. Luke replastered the whole house, but some of the work was sloppy. My living room wall is still covered with bumps, which he was supposed to fix before his dad redecorated. His dad painted right over them. This is just one of several problems. So then Luke asked for an early payment and that he would sort all the problems I raised and until then I can hold off 100 pounds. He has since buggered off. I call him, I now get voice mail.
