George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Overall a really nice person but whilst the pointing work was ok, the rest of the work was a bit below atandard. My thatcher came to do the byannual inspection and was critical of the concreting and flashing particularly as the lead flashing had been used under the concrete not around the chimney as expected. He also though the price was very expensive for the work as the flashings had not been done properly. However, had the flashing been done correctly the price would have been a competetive one

Tiled our kitchen floor and made a disgusting job of it. Floor not even, corners sticking up, uneven gaps between tiles, used all the tiles but didn't do under cooker and dishwasher as asked and measured for. Will not return to sort out the job, they've promised to come sort it twice and both times haven't showed up, now won't reply to our messages. Would've been happier putting he money down the toilet!
