Hello! My name is Tony, I'm a self employed joiner and i have just signed up with rated people, hoping to find some new customers. I am 53 yrs old and I've been working for myself for approx. 23yrs.I work on my own and the jobs i carry out include hanging doors, laying flooring, fitting skirting and facings, sliding doors, loft ladders and flooring, shelving and storage, erect fences and repair/renew damaged timber work.
Absolutely delighted with Tony's work. He was an excellent communicator, arriving on time to assess the work and delivering a quote promptly. He arrived early every morning and worked hard throughout the day. His work was of a high standard and he was solutions focused when there were tricky jobs to complete. Aaron came out quickly to give us a quote to change bath to step in shower. Gave us a good price and was able to fit us in because of a cancellation. Had a couple of issues with finishing touches but Aaron was as good as his word and came back out to fix them. Tidy worker and good communication throughout the whole process.

Did a tidy job considering wren surveyors poor measuring. Came back to complete the fitting of utilities the minute wren had been to install the worktop.

Keiran did that rare thing of turning up exactly when he said he would. Tidy and friendly, and reasonably priced. He removed a glass pane from door and fitted wooden replacement before installing cat flap - looks smart and exactly what I wanted; he also installed MDF shelves in a walk in cupboard - not exactly complex, but affordable and exactly what I needed.
I am very pleased with the service recieved from Alex. He quicky provided a competitive quote and arranged to get the work done on a Saturday morning. It involved the repair of an external door and he moved other jobs around so he could get to this sooner because it affected the security of the building. The repair looks great and he has painted the door frame for us. Alex even agreed to adjusting a door closer whilst there at no extra charge. I will use McLaurin Joinery again.
