Sam did a really good job fitting the door, especially considering we have an old Victorian house where there isn't a straight wall or door opening in the whole house.

You can see why Smith & Son get a good rating. You get a friendly builder that does a good job. We employed him to fit a steel beam and a door lintel. The site was tidied up on completion and advice was given about covering the beam and contacting building control. Thanks Ian and team, great job, thoroughly recommended.

Job done in a friendly and considerate way, and we liked the result. Issues which arose (e.g. water coming through ceiling below two evenings after they'd left) were rectified, and snags at the end were dealt with promptly. Cleaning up was fairly good but not perfect - tiles needed quite a bit of further scraping, scouring and buffing to remove traces of grout and adhesive. But altogether perfectly satisfied that we got what we paid for.

We have had nothing but excellant work from Ross Glover. From the quotation, he came out himself along with a plumber and electrician to give a true quotation. His work has been of excellant standard. His workers are very reliable and we are kept up to date at every stage of the build. Their knowledge and professionalism is fantastic and have given us good advice and resolve problems which have come to light. They have also been able to help save costs on the build aswell.

We recently employed Mike to fit some internal doors. He was very polite and friendly, competitively priced and provided us with an excellent service and finish. We will definitely employ him again.

This is a new partnership and the first time they had used Rated People. Initially they were busy but I said I would wait. Lee Masters rang to ask if I still need the work doing, which I did. He arrived promptly, was extremely polite, efficient, good work, good value, neat and tidy. Although only a small job, will use them again. Can recommend following this experience.

This summer Anthony to carried out some much needed repair works to our house. We found Anthony to be a very polite, dedicated, professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic builder. Tyrone, Mike, Kyle and McKenzie have done a fantastic renovation on my home. They were professional throughout the 6 week job, incorporating my ideas and keeping me updated on progress throughout. Jimmy came round to give us a quote very soon after we had asked for a workman. We needed soundproofing on two floors and carpets and underlay fitted on two floors and the stairwells plus landings. His workmanship and professionalism were excellent. He is extremely reliable and we would have no hesitation is recommending him. We were very pleased with the result and found him to be extremely helpful and efficient.
