George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. We used Paul to replace our conservatory floor, he arranged to view the job and arrived on time. After a few minutes with Paul you see he knows the building job inside out. All of our trades people are fully qualified and Stephen is Chartered member of the Institute of Building, which involves a rigorous application process.
An excellent job, let down only slightly by taking too much time to get the job right. I would certainly recommend SMG if you want craftsmanship quality.

Dale and his team were brilliant. The schedule was set out and agreed in advance and adhered to pretty much to the day. The different trades turned up as planned and each one was excellent. We are delighted with the workmanship and the finished kitchen and would thoroughly recommend Dale, particularly with his experience of fitting Wren kitchens.

Very quick response and started work the next day. Reliable and hard working. Seem to have done a good job on the roof which was leaking - only time will tell. Stayed late to finish off plastering inside the house, which was a great help as we didn't need to find a second tradesman to do this. Altogether I would certainly recommend Star Roofing.

Luke gave a decent quote for some roof, paving & fence work. What they did complete was good, but they did not finish the job. Communication was very frustrating and I had to constantly chase for updates. I stupidly paid the full balance after the garden was complete, but before the roof work was. It's now 9 weeks on & despite repeated assurances that they will come back (and me offering a further £200 to complete the roof work), I do not believe they intend to return. 3/5

Nice friendly guy, came round to look at the job, arranged to come back to fix the wall. I rang the day before to confirm he was coming but he said he Wouldn't be able to fix the wall (ever!!) as his truck had broken down.
