I am also extremely capable at doing many manual labour jobs, but often favour a shorter timeline for my clients project completion and therefore prefer to draft in experienced trades to get the job completed. Tom was not hired on this occasion for my posted job. I tried to remove/close the job post, but a glitch means I can not do so. I can only place a rating. It would be unfair to rate Tom as anything less than 5 stars as he did communicate a quote but wanted 50% up front. If I had not found a tradesman with immediate availability, it may well have worked out differently.
Neil ended up completing the full 2nd fix in my new build property, including fitting of staircase, kitchen, doors, skirting, laminate and associated tasks. All work was completed to a high standard, including the overcoming of some difficulties in actually fitting in the staircase to comply with building control. I would not hesitate to recommend Neil for your carpentry project and will certainly use him again.
The end result was outstading and carried out in a very professional manner. The space we were working with was awkward and there were no bedroom/ wardrobe specialists who could create something in the space we had. Dom had one initial site visit and took all measurements down before completeing the work off site. The wardrobes, drawers and shelves were then fitted in one day. What was created looks as though it has always been there which is superb given the space he had to work with. Well recommended.

We had a difficult cleaning job of a large house that involved extensive sanitary cleaning, hoarding and large furniture disposal. The team worked hard and thoroughly to get the job done in two days for a reasonable cost. For any further work we will absolutely going back to LDL!

I have been in the building trade for the last 26years, with a vast knowledge of carpentry and joinery and refurbishment to property's. with jobs including fitting of kitchens, bathrooms, small extentions and all internal works to domestic property's.
Reached out on the day of posting the requirement. Negotiated price and work to be undertaken. We discussed materials to be used in the all in price (using plywood which is more expensive than MDF) but better for structural integrity, strength and durability (I have kids that stomp around the house and stairs). Reasonably priced, did as he said. Kept noise to a minimum and brought own tools. Would recommend and will use again.????????
