A quick, efficient and friendly set of guys. I had them in to clean and paint my mums fence, and then she asked them to do some jet washing and further painting around the garage. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. The job (valley gutters and end caps) was a little fiddly with unexpected complications, quality of work was OK but not the neatest, valley gutter and end caps not dead straight. Price was very reasonable. Cleaned up everything on the ground but left some debris in gutters and in other valley gutter, lead flashing not fully smoothed on tiles . However prepared to live with that as his quote was much less than others.

Mike and his 2 chaps have so far done our garden copings (cementing them on to an existing wall), with more work planned, they did a very good job. They are a nice, respectful team, who cleaned up nicely too! Oh and didn't come with blaring music either which is a plus. The main thing is Mike kept us updated and turned up when he said he would too.

We bought the paint and was quoted £4150 to paint the house, and fit soffits and fascias he asked for £1500 bank deposit. We checked the company name and it could not be found. I rang the mobile telephone number a few times and left voice messages on different days but no reply. We decided not to use his services.

A good working relationship with your builder is essential and we definitely had that with Heyl Build. We agreed a price before the job started. Then we added to the job and each addition was quoted for so both parties knew where they were. The team worked hard through varying weather conditions and they were always polite. We are very happy with the end result and we would have no hesitation in recommending Heyl Build.
