Mathew contacted me and came to see the job the same day, he then started the job two days later. I cannot praise him and alistairs work highly enough from keeping me informed as to what he was doing to the finished job which was absolutely spot on. This was first time on rated so I was obviously a bit dubious but these guys laid all that to rest. My neighbour was that impressed that he is painting her house next week. John was quick to get in contact regarding the job and was efficient in all aspects. Done a fantastic job to bathroom in a small time limit. Was very approachable with any queries and done the very best he could with the budget we had, place looks brilliant. A M Contracts did an excellent job of dismantling the wall cleaning the bricks and then rebuilding the wall. Despite disruption caused by the weather I could not fault the the work carried out. We are all really pleased with the rebuilt wall. A number of people have already said what a good job.

The job was a complete en-suite shower room renovation. The existing fixtures and fittings were removed and a complete new suite installed. This requires alterations to one of the walls to increase the size of the room, and plasterwork in the en-suite and adjoining room. The wall and floor were completely tiled and new lighting, shower, basin and WC were fitted. The reason that Wayne got the job was that he appeared very professional from the outset. He arrived right on time, was knowledgeable, willing to provide ideas and provided a detailed written quote and work schedule. He allowed me the option of choosing my own materials, which he would then purchase for me to save me any hassle. He dealt with the suppliers and took delivery of the goods. One other confidence booster is the fact that he didn't take a penny until the job was complete and I was completely satisfied. Once the job began, minor changes to the specification weren't a problem. Wayne accepted changes, and provided verbal cost updates if the change had a cost impact. I would have to say that he is more than fair in terms of the additional cost of his labour and didn't take a mark-up on materials. Throughout the job he was very punctual, and his work ethic was exceptional. He obviously takes great pride in what he does, and it shows in the finished product. I would certainly recommend Wayne.

Euan replaced my cat flap and front gate\fence in East Kilbride. He was reliable, punctual and did a fabulous job with no mess. I would definitely hire him again for future joinery work.

Excellent service from Alex. Came out straight away and gave me an estimate and a date to complete the work. On the day he kept me informed what was going on and how he was progressing with the job. Left everything tidy and clean. Will be using him again later this year, overall very satisfied with work. Alex was great.

I am very pleased with the service recieved from Alex. He quicky provided a competitive quote and arranged to get the work done on a Saturday morning. It involved the repair of an external door and he moved other jobs around so he could get to this sooner because it affected the security of the building. The repair looks great and he has painted the door frame for us. Alex even agreed to adjusting a door closer whilst there at no extra charge. I will use McLaurin Joinery again.
