I had hired Dar Constructions for the job. His rates were competitive, he was a professional and finished the job up to my expectations. The job took longer than anticipated but he was very professional and completed the work within the agreed price. He was very clean with his work and made sure the house is tidy. Ionut was prompt and fast . However would not snag minor items saying holes were not filled as needed silicone so he did not do them . asked him for a list for of materials and bought what he asked for …He never asked for silicone . now have to try and do it myself which defeats the object of employing a professional . He also was reluctant to work around furniture and quite unresponsive when asked to remedy things . Overall though a good job if he could address these minor issues he could be 5 *

He is now ignoring my solicitor and has deregistered his business email to hide. I am taking him to court to recoup my money and the cost of fixing his work. I’ve been told he didn't pay his laborers and fled to Sweden, so I will use European small claims to enforce the debt instead.
My name is Akos, I am originally an architect but I have a company called Zebra Services here in the South of England including South London. I do a lot of things by trade but my favourite occupation and our specialty is roofing, guttering, chimney and decorating, and painting, this includes minor plasterboard work, doors, skirting boards etc. But I wouldd rather have them talk about what others think of us: Akos and his colleague that worked on our house were thorough professionals and took great pride in the work they do.
