I was impressed with Tom's approach when he quoted to re-point and seal the water - damaged brickwork and to strip and re-paint the metal railings on the external stairs. The job started well. Due to unexpected personal circumstances, there were delays so the job took longer than expected. This wasn't a problem due to the nature of the work being outside and Tom kept me informed when he was able to be here and what he planned to do each time. A bit rushed towards the end. I couldn't be happier with the service provided by the Kierda Construction. We renovated our porch, toilet and bathroom (completely gutted). Quote was clear. They have completed everything in a timely manner. During the works I wasn't at home, but they kept me updated on everything. Very respectful of the property and high quality work done. John damaged the wall in few places while removing the existing coving and also damaged the newly installed corners. His boss advised that I could fill them in but no amount of filler or paint could hide the damage. Despite supplying all materials they still tried to charge me £16 for two tubes of caulk. No floor protection was used, mess left and damage to wood flooring. Extremely poor quality and lack of skill—avoid at all costs.
