Hired this tradesperson all went well for a short time - his team walked out on him and he could not get the appropriate trades to complete various stages of the build - after complaining about the constant delays he stated he would not come back and is now in breech of his contract- due to his inability to obtain the relevant tradespeople his plumbing “expertise” has now caused a leak underneath our newly fitted kitchen floor! Which we are having to pay to repair! Disgraceful!

Awesome bloke. Brilliant comms. Face-times you from the roof to explain things. It's very reassuring to examine your roof at the same time as he does. Leaves you with before and after photos. Turns up on time and was very sympathetic that I work late nights & sleep in. Resourceful in getting his water somewhere else so as not to wake me. Asking around it was a very decent price. 9 weeks later the job unfinished. Robbie ignored my mothers phone calls, texts and email. Problems include water pooling on new flat roof , skylight poorly fitted off center, waste materials dumped on neighbour's land and left for 9 weeks without permission. Full report plus photos and guarantees promised but never received. Robbie gave constant excuses and false promises. After initially quoting £2.6k Robbie took £10k from my poorly informed mother for partially complete sub standard work.
I am an experienced roofer and take pride in my work. I am fully equipped and competent from cleaning out a gutter to stripping a roof and recovering with new felt and batten and appropriate slates/tiles.

I didn't have the work done. They came across as unprofessional and pushy. I can't coment on the quality of the work but I can coment on the quote process. Just verbal price. When I pushed for an email quote I just got the price again and little else. Nothing about what they were going to do as part of the job. I expect better. The last few tradesmen I have had on Rated have been excellent full written quotes and professional from the start. These guys even had to ask if they could borrow a tape measure!
