I had a good, written quotation, to which they kept and which was not at all unreasonable. Ryan responded to the job listing very quickly, and came round next day to inspect the roof. He then provided a written quote within a few hours. The quote was very competitive, and we thought Ryan was friendly and knew what he was talking about, so we decided to go with him. He then came round the next day - a Saturday - to fix the roof tiles, and he did an excellent job of matching the missing ridge tiles and rear tiles. We would definitely consider using Ryan and Direct Improvements again in the future.

Turned out to be a huge job in the end and project escalated which I was given full explanations and photo evidence of. Job timelines could have been better but could not fault work quality. This company provided a quote without visiting our property. Their quote was 3x our lowest quote and 2x our highest. Not sure why a company 43 miles away would want to quote for a relatively small job. I feel that the reasons for such a high quote was that either: A: they didn’t really want the job B: I would be paying over the odds for their travelling 43 miles. All that said, until I manage to get three quotes for the insurance company, I cannot move forward anyway.
Spoken with them on Friday with my extension roof licking problem. They replaced all extension roof and fitted new gutters in next two days. Great price, great quality, great speed.
