Paul and his colleague turned up when they said they would, did the job quickly and thoroughly with minimum mess. Paul charged me a fair price, and I would certainly use SMP plastering services again. A pleasant, no-fuss experience!

External Rendering. Someone as had work done after ours and rated excellent? WELL! Poor job done and conded out of our hard earned money. Way out of his depth doing this sort of work. Did a runner with money for unfinished and poor job. Promised? to refund some monies but now says he has given up Plastering and Rendering. Blocked my calls and does not seem to have a conscience, and not seen any refund.

Howard has been fantastic- after being left in the lurch he was able to help us out with some plastering and what a fantastic job he did. George started really well but unfortunately didn't finish the small areas required to complete. Had to finish of some small cosmetic issues myself. Such a shame as the main tiling work was really good.

This company has proved excellent in all respects. Simon the first caller, went above and beyond the view to correctly diagnose the source of our problems and thereby left the competition in the shade. Ray the surveyor was next in the scene, very competent and helpful. The icing on the cake were Stuart and James the fitters who did an excellent job and were a pleasure to have here. Full marks!

Agreed a price of £85 for the service. Mr Griffiths arrived 50 mins late and pressed a reset button that I pointed out to him. He then told me he came out to get the rayburn going and NOT for a service as he would charge £200. He then had a good look around my home and priced up other work for and insisted on payment for the rayburn. I have been left £85 out of pocket, with a rayburn not working and very intimidated by the mannner this 'local' trademen operated. So upset I didnt leave the house for days.

Not trustworthy. Told me he was running a limited company, then when I asked for details, told me the company number is his telephone number! Told me he would supply an invoice for payment, but didn't. Instead just sent a text with his bank details. When I queried about the invoice he said , it will come after payment. No surprise, invoice didn't turn up. And when I called/texted/emailed he just ignored me. I don't trust all of the work was done, but i wasn't able to supervise as I'm not nearby.
