Work was completed and I paid immediately, however after repeated requests I have not received a receipt so unable to claim back as an expense.

In October, quoted £800 to level and turf 80 sqm. Left the soil to harden. He came in April and remeasured. This time, it magically increased to 96 sqm and wanted £960. After completing without any levelling, there was still an area left. When asked to lay the excess turf in the truck, said it is for another customer and left. When I measured the turfed area, it came to 81 sqm. Contacted him to return the 15 sqm, wants another £200. Now asking not to contact, so leaving this feedback. Untrustworthy workman.

Very disappointed with Ash, after his initial visit was full of false promises. His reliability has become very poor and he also disputed the agreed payments, after he’d been doing our garden for a few weeks. If you want a reliable trustworthy gardener, I do not recommend Ash.

Follow up feedback from initial satisfaction published. I've tried contacting them several times, phone call and text due to deterioration of the work they undertook - seals and finish. No answer or responses despite (polite) messages etc. Simple stuff for them to remedy no doubt, but clearly not interested. Paid them on time and in good faith. I can't recommend.

Wow this person is so untrustworthy & unprofessional. A professional roofer has advised me that roofing felt should always be adhered with a heat gun. Ben Brown of ABI said he hadn't stuck it down because the sun would heat it and make it stick! then scarpered. It came loose because it wasn't stuck down in the 1st place not because of any storm. He hasn't even offered to come and take a look. Before I realised how unprofessional he was I referred my neighbour who wanted a shed doing -he did not even reply

Turned up and worked hard, sometimes in really bad weather. Removed years of undergrowth and left us with a garden that will be a lot easier to maintain. Left everything clean and tidy.Really friendly team who worked around our holidays to leave us with a good lawn.

Matthew gave a reasonable price for the work and advised us about options which we hadn't previously considered. He communicated well when he had to rearrange his fitting date, and then was prompt with bus work. Efficient and tidy in his work.

Nice friendly guy, came round to look at the job, arranged to come back to fix the wall. I rang the day before to confirm he was coming but he said he Wouldn't be able to fix the wall (ever!!) as his truck had broken down.

Not trustworthy. Told me he was running a limited company, then when I asked for details, told me the company number is his telephone number! Told me he would supply an invoice for payment, but didn't. Instead just sent a text with his bank details. When I queried about the invoice he said , it will come after payment. No surprise, invoice didn't turn up. And when I called/texted/emailed he just ignored me. I don't trust all of the work was done, but i wasn't able to supervise as I'm not nearby.

Original estimate was 15 days work (continuous from start date) - started in April, did not finish until End of September! Finishing quality extremely poor Regularly failed to turn up when expected, did not undertake all work quoted or promised - rarely if ever cleared up after themselves. Overall hugely disappointed
