This company takes advantage of need for a fast call out. Very expensive and was mislead on charges when booked. Paid £180 (which was discounted) for 5 mins job to cap shower for broken value. They didn’t even take broken value out to help identify part needed. Called next day and said part unavailable (I later found the major parts supplier were closed that day so not sure where they checked) and was then quoted thousands to replace shower. Did my own research and found part for £40, replaced myself.

So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with AG plumbing. Whilst the price was reasonable, I was let down many times from their sub-contractor (Steve). Many cancelled work days. A hot water cylinder left at my house for weeks. Job took weeks to complete (should be 1-2 days max). They even used my bath towels to use as floor covers! The owner compensated for this but it’s still not good practice, as it stained my carpet. Sub-contractor was eventually replaced and the work was completed satisfactorily

When the job was done the roofer gave us guarantee, stating that the guarantee was the reason for the high price. Less than a year later, the leaks reappeared, even worse than before. The roofer came and himself admitted the job was not up to standard and he had to fix it. When we reached back to schedule the fix, he stopped responding. We have been chasing for weeks and there has been no answer. I would not hire this plumber or roofer, they are not reliable and the standard of their workmanship is poor.
