Hi, I'm Gary Korab, and I'm a fully trained carpenter/joiner, and locksmith, with 25 years experience. I have completed the level 3 Advanced Modern Apprenticeship at college, along with the City & Guilds awards and many other certificates. I do still work in the carpentry and joinery trade, but I'm slowly merging my business to focus just on the locksmithing trade, and emergency boarding services. This includes fixing windows, doors, etc. Upvc, steel, and timber are all included. Breaking locks, lock replacement or repair, mechanism replacement or repair, handle replacement or repair, espagnolette replacement or repair, and adjusting window openers and doors that don't open well anymore, or not at all. Most of the time the window or door will just need adjusting, and I also offer a full service as well, which keeps your windows and doors working well for longer. Emergency boarding includes windows that have been damaged, or the glass smashed/missing, and doors that have been damaged, or the glass smashed/missing. Avoid this company. Not sure of quality of work as not been able to get onto roof to check. When I asked questions via text as I wasn’t there he got quite aggressive and said he was offended that I would a question his work. Latest text was to say he would remove all the materials installed a dump waste back at house. Not vey helpful. All I am asking for is evidence things have been done. Could have said a lot more but it’s not worth it

He made a very challenging job look easy and did some extra things for me that weren’t included in the quote, without charging extra. Came and offered a reasonable quote on bathroom refurb. The job was done in 4 days, which was acceptable, however when replacing the boards on the floor it's become apparent, after needing to replace a light in the kitchen below, that lots of rubble had been left under the new floorboard I.e. above the kitchen ceiling. Their were no sealant on top of the wall panels which I've had to do. The floor he laid had to be taken up as not only was it bumped up in places he'd also cut it short and lied about it

Not worth 5 star rating, in my opinion. Cancelled appointment 30 minutes before due time. Came out twice, first time to take a look, second time to bring sample. Said he would get back to with price with expected start next week. Heard nothing, he finally answered one of my texts saying didn't reply as materials had gone up and the job would cost another £1000. Did not even have the courtesy of letting me decide if it was too much to pay or to choose something less expensive. Very disappointed.
