My names Tom, I have been in the real estate sector for over 10 years and have done everything from general property maintenance, new bathrooms, painting/decorating, demolition contracts and most recently constructed 9 ultra high spec homes. I am very well connected with all trades and can provide a top tier service for all types of project management no matter how big or small the job may be. I am also extremely capable at doing many manual labour jobs, but often favour a shorter timeline for my clients project completion and therefore prefer to draft in experienced trades to get the job completed. Above all I am very friendly, well spoken and always keen to deliver what is asked of me.
Tom was not hired on this occasion for my posted job. I tried to remove/close the job post, but a glitch means I can not do so. I can only place a rating. It would be unfair to rate Tom as anything less than 5 stars as he did communicate a quote but wanted 50% up front. If I had not found a tradesman with immediate availability, it may well have worked out differently.

Trot came to install a cat flap through a wall within the house. Done an? absolutely amazing job which looks very neat and tidy! And was at a good price especially considering it was a very niche job! They had great communication and was able to help with any questions we had. Will definitely be using 1st Choice Property Maintenance again!

I am a very experienced plumber, I have been carrying out maintenance plumbing for 10 years. I am City and Guilds qualified and deliver quality workmanship but at a competitive price. I strongly believe that a plumber is only as good as his last job.
I posted this job after a British Gas Engineer failed to get my downstairs radiators running and suggested the system required a power flush . Joe came out on the day I posted my job and having looked at my radiators and heating system identified the fault and had my radiators working within fifteen minutes of walking through the door. I can’t rate him high enough for his knowledge/professionalism, a less experienced/reputable engineer could have ended in me paying hundreds of pounds for unnecessary work.
Paul did an excellent job and with a very good quote,good communication and tidied up and the made the area cleaner than when he began. Would use again.

We specialise in bath to walk-in shower conversions with coverage of many areas of the UK.
Not a great experience. New shower tray walk in shower fitted for disabled parent. Returned to find a very poor job. Not sealed around the tray, along the trim and sealant on panels at the top missing and incomplete. Black scuff marks left on the ceiling. Root cause identified that the trader uses contractors for some parts and clearly doesn't inspect their work therefore had to withhold payment (although pressured on email to pay) to make sure it was put right. Most rectified I'll complete sealing.
Did a good job, will use again if needed
Whilst the job took longer than expected it cost me no more than the original quote. After 2 - 3 days it became clear that the problem had not been resolved however he has agreed to come back and install a new part to see if this solves the problem. He has said that he will only charge me for the part and not his time. At the end of day you cannot get it it right first time every time, however it is not often that you will get a tradesman who will keep working with you to solve a problem. So whilst the problem is not solved I am impressed by the reliability of the individual involved.
Nicholas managed to fix an issue that I was beginning to think wouldn't be possible as I have had 2 plumbers previously look into it. He was reliable, well spoken and charged fairly for the work he carried out. I would definitely recommend Nicholas to anyone looking for a good, knowledgeable, dependable and friendly plumber.
