We were very happy with the work done by Dan and his team at Akoni Construction. I had a 20m2 porcelain patio laid which looks fantastic. They also had the expertise for a second job I added to pebbledash a wall on our rear extension, which now matches the rest of the house perfectly. Every member of the team involved in the bathroom installation - plumber, tiler, carpenter, electrician, floorer - was, from start to finish, professional, highly skilled, reliable, clean and friendly. The work took longer than I expected but I am delighted with the result: top quality at a competitive price. I am planning similar work on my kitchen and shall certainly be inviting Root Construction to give me a quote.
They did a great job, on the whole with a tight budget. They turned up on time and worked hard. The only thing I would say is that they overestimated the labour time, hence I wasn't sure how much I paid for the materials and how much I paid for labour. A minor quibble really, they did a very good job and I would definitely recommend them.
I am a carpenter and tiler, now working on my own, with over 30 years experience. I am happy to do any household job however I specialise in laminate floors, tiling, hanging doors and changing locks.Prefer work in Bristol and Swindon.No job is too small.
I was very happy with Mark, he's done a great job with the flooring and tiling all for a reasonable cost. He was punctual every day and got the job finished in good time. I've asked him to come back to do a few more jobs in a few weeks time.

I've changed my rating as the toilet seat that was supplied broke after a few months. Not the plumbers fault but when I contacted him he ignored me. Not great service.

Dave did a teriffic job clearing up my very overgrown garden and accomplished in just a few hours a job I had been ignoring for months. He was very prompt to reply to my posting and appeared in the garden just a couple of days later. He did such a good job he's coming back to build us a bike shed and sort out the flowerbeds.
