Darren provided practical solutions to an unusual build, and a proper estimate. As the work was about to start the spec' changed a few times, and Darren was helpful with that. We agreed a new price and signed a straightforward agreement. Security was never an issue - we had no issue with giving Darren keys and access. He turned up when he said he would and always went through the issues of the day and the progress of the day on site and on the phone. The project has worked out really well, and it has been a very good working relationship. We have no hesitation in recommending Darren - he was helpful throughout, including managing the occassional curved ball. He runs work from a joinery led perspective, and has a wide range of understanding about the other trades and what should happen when. A pleasure to work with!
Experienced builder NEW TO RATED PEOPLE ???? Hi everyone. I’m Mitch, I’ve been in the trade since leaving school. I am a general builder that specialises in timber work. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. I’ve worked in the construction industry since I was 16. Doing complete property refurbs right back to the bare shell to complete the project. Went to college when I was 27 and served my time with Rothwells plumbing services where I learned all aspects of plumbing and heating installations. I’ve worked for various social housing providers installing wet rooms bathrooms, heating systems kitchen tiling, and many other tasks. More recently I've been providing maintenance services to landlords and schools .
Anthony was very organised from the beginning. His Quotation was well informed about the scope of work to be covered withina cost. He was reasonably priced and worked within my budget. Although the timescale for delivery overran, the quality of work made up for time lost. I will recommend him any day.
Gordon was fantastic, wanted a few pictures and mirrors putting up, did a great job. He did put the mirror up not how I wanted but I text him to tell him this and he text straight back to arrange a date when he could come back to correct it. Would definitely recommend . Very reliable and great value for money.

John came out on an agreed date to understand my requirements. Got back to me the next day with a £quote. Was able to fit me in and start work the following week. Did exactly as we agreed & tidied up afterwards, working tirelessly with his team in the summer sun. Happy to recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable and repectful tradesperson. Job was demolition and removal of brick walls and shed debris. Two 8 tonne skips worth of brick and wood. Very happy with him, his team and his work.
