Donal came out within 24 hours and gave a more than competitive quote , This father and son (Brett) team are not only excellent traders men but are generally just lovely people!! They arrived when they said they would, and got on with the job. !! Worked solid through the 3 days it took to complete my job and the standard was first class !! They were professional, friendly , polite and respectful as well as good at what they do, I will definitely be using them again ! If they will come back! Thanks guys x

Jon said he would be on site 0800 Tuesday and that the job would take two days. I wait in for him, he then advises at 08:47 on that he wont be there but promises to be there 0800 Wednesday. Arrives 09:45 Wednesday. I arranged access for him and was at work on Thursday and didn’t realise until he messaged me at 15:24 that he hasn’t turned into work again, can he come back on Saturday. Messages at 05:28 on Saturday saying he can’t come in but can do tomorrow (Sunday). Messed us around. Won’t use again.

George and his team did a superb job at our house. His punctuality and communication have been outstanding; he always replies very quickly to messages and sent us countless videos of his work to keep us updated. He gave us some very fair and informed advice on how to tackle extra problems with our roof. His invoices were very detailed and clear and competitively priced. Fully recommended! Came around and got measurements, went away and sent over quote for the job very quickly. Had another that was q touch cheaper however, from the conversation I had, believed that the job would be of a better quality through D&S and was glad with my decision. No response to any attempts at communication once I had paid. No key sent for the new lock I had fitted. Another locksmith had to come out to sort out eh lock and said it was a bad job.

Facts are you were asked to leave after taking advice from other tradesman and building control that observed your work in detail, you broke your own building contract, you tried pulling a fast one trying to charge us twice with your supplier for the staircase, which doesn’t meet building regs as the roof is not to drawing - I can go on, but to call yourself a trustworthy builder that for sure is incorrect and the tradespeople who are finishing this job are testament to that.

Whilst a very personable gentleman, Glen didn't fill my requirements though his quote was within my requested range. Obviously knew what he was talking about and explained things in a very easy-to-understand manner. Unfortunately he didn't get the contract though.

Took 4 months to repair water damage to living room ceiling. Small damp testing holes left unfilled in walls. After 6 months they are either unable or unwilling to give me the value of the insurance claim for me to get new policy quotes. Regretfully I cannot recommend using this company.

Came to quote. Agreed to take on the job. Contacted me that morning to cancel as he "had to sort out a problem with existing job". After a few weeks I called to arrange a new date at 5pm and he agreed to come the following morning. Texted my address again as requested (admittedly on the morning he was due but before he had arranged to turn up. Received text telling me he thought I had changed my mind and was doing another job. This is less than 12 hours after we agreed. Getting someone else.
