Matthew overcharged for materials. He told me he paid £40 at Screwfix for the spikes. I was shocked and asked for a copy of the receipt but he didn't provide it. I did pay him in cash for the work then checked the price at Screwfix. The cost is £29.99 not £40. As a result, I cannot recommend him.
Following initial problems with the work, the roofing guys returned to put right the shortfalls which closed the job satisfactorily. However I had to oversee the work completion myself via Google Translate due to no instructions and poor communications to the work team. I am very pleased to finally conclude the job, but still await receipt for full payment made. RG24

Some of the work was good like the trimming of the shrub and bushes. The weeding was hopeless as they have not been pulled up by the roots and some of it was not touched at all. Some of my plants were trampled on and the rose stems forcefully pushed through the obelisk were broken in their hurry to finish by five. Turned out to be a huge job in the end and project escalated which I was given full explanations and photo evidence of. Job timelines could have been better but could not fault work quality. Unfortunately the purchase of the property fell through we were unable to use this company but I will say that when asked to do a survey they did it quickly and efficiently.
