Custom Carpentry & Construction is a family business based in Stirlingshire. We have over 20 years experience in the construction industry. We are highly qualified and have experience working for a wide range of clients, both business and private customers. Our previous work ranges from small domestic jobs, including fitting kitchens and bathrooms, finishings, bespoke wardrobes, laminate flooring, staircases etc. Mid-sized jobs such as extensions, garden rooms, shop fitting and renovations. And also complete new build properties and developments from start to finish. Therefore we have expertise in all areas of joinery and construction. More recently we have focused mainly on bespoke storage solutions such as built in wardrobes, media units, bookcases, under stair storage etc, fitted kitchens and flooring but we are happy to discuss any other projects. Whilst the app is a good idea having to select a job costing beforehand when you're not sure how much to pay is very frustrating. It also reduces your negotiation of any job with the tradesman you're contacting, I've used the RP app a few times but not sure if I will use it again. On this occasion I only had 1 reply so was grateful to get the job done but it comes at a price.

Lee and his team did a great job on replacing our roof - scaffolding was up and everything renewed within a few days. Communication was good and we got updates about when the work was happening and when the team would be arriving. They worked almost without stopping each day even though it was freezing weather, left everything tidy and disposed of waste, and showed us pictures of progress and the completed roof. Really happy with their work and it's good to have peace of mind with a big job done.

Had a couple of leaks in my roof. Within a month of the work both leak worse than they did before. Messaged him a two months ago for his thoughts but still waiting on a response. While here he clattered his ladder off my window which I later found to be damaged. Not saying it was him but he did smash a couple of garden pots and then hid them in my garden. Got none of what I wanted, more problems than I began with, paid a lot of money and now talking to another roofer. Lesson in trusting people learned.

Remove wallpaper from hall, stairs and landing, plaster walls and ceiling and paint. Plaster walls and ceilings in living room and cloakroom and paint. Extremely courteous workmen, who turned up on time each day, worked continuously though out the day with only a short break for lunch. Nothing was too much trouble. Keen to do a good job. Job ran over time but this was because of problems uncovered when wallpaper removed. We were delighted with finished rooms etc.

A M Contracts did an excellent job of dismantling the wall cleaning the bricks and then rebuilding the wall. Despite disruption caused by the weather I could not fault the the work carried out. We are all really pleased with the rebuilt wall. A number of people have already said what a good job.
