I was so used to being exploited & overcharged for shoddy work, that over the years I learnt not to trust any tradesmen.Being old & alone made it worse. Then I contacted Rated people & through them, Colin Burton. This guy was diffrent. A fair quote for a leaking roof, always on time. Good job done thanks Colin.

Slate & Tiled Roof
After 3 weeks of being let down and messed about by local roofers following Storm Eowyn, I posted on here and Colin got in touch. He made an appointment to come through, take a look and give a quote and he kept his word and arrived bang on time. He gave a good price and agreed to come and do the work in 2 days time, which he did, again bang on time and despite terrible weather, saving us from further water ingress that day. Excellent work & I have no hesitation in recommending Colin 100%. Will use again!

Velux / Skylight Window
Had a couple of leaks in my roof. Within a month of the work both leak worse than they did before. Messaged him a two months ago for his thoughts but still waiting on a response. While here he clattered his ladder off my window which I later found to be damaged. Not saying it was him but he did smash a couple of garden pots and then hid them in my garden. Got none of what I wanted, more problems than I began with, paid a lot of money and now talking to another roofer. Lesson in trusting people learned.
