We contacted Mr Bone in April and paid him a 50% deposit (£1000) after he quoted a 5 week lead time. He kept postponing the date until in September we cancelled the job and asked for our money back. Despite receiving £200 he again failed to live up to promises to repay the remainder. We have issued a small claims court order and also a county court judgment against Mr Bone. A very disappointing experience

This company is a pure scum! The roof has been constructed using an incorrect size of joists and needs rebuild. They built walls without insulation that I now need to rebuild, re plaster, repaint. It's been 5 months still dont have a roof. I have already paid £44,000 out of £55,000 and £9,000 classed as extra at a later stage to Michael O'Heney who runs this company. He has left me a big mess behind, financial debts and has completely ruined my life.

P & L have just completed today(9/10/24) our bathroom makeover & we are absolutely delighted with the work done. This was to remove existing floor tiles , prepare for new ones & fit & grout replacements. Then to fit a toilet bowl plus seat. All done in budget and to the timescale promised. Then why is your new company Studio Construction Ltd being forced to close. Why have you not replied to my many requests to complete works. Why did you tell me that my money was in a secure bank account. Why did you tell me that materials were paid for to lock the price. Why have I needed to redecorate the whole house as the painting is a disaster. I have photos as proof and theres more. Too many to mention. You tell me that I need to pay for already paid for materials theres more.

He brought in a really hard working, respectful team who got the work done quickly. When we found an unexpected element, he did his best to find a solution within our budget.
