George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Custom Carpentry & Construction is a family business based in Stirlingshire. We have over 20 years experience in the construction industry. We are highly qualified and have experience working for a wide range of clients, both business and private customers. Our previous work ranges from small domestic jobs, including fitting kitchens and bathrooms, finishings, bespoke wardrobes, laminate flooring, staircases etc. Mid-sized jobs such as extensions, garden rooms, shop fitting and renovations. And also complete new build properties and developments from start to finish. Therefore we have expertise in all areas of joinery and construction. More recently we have focused mainly on bespoke storage solutions such as built in wardrobes, media units, bookcases, under stair storage etc, fitted kitchens and flooring but we are happy to discuss any other projects. Charged £140 for a job I've told everyone other companies should be £60. Supposed to be fixing a leak and instead caused 2 more. Wanted to charge a further £60 to fix a problem they created. Very disappointed and dishearten

Andy is a joiner and he built my TV stand, he was so nice and made me feel comfortable chatting away while doing his job and my TV stand was up in a bout 15/20 mins he even put my TV onto my new stand and I am hoping he has time to get time to build my daughters flat pack dining table and 4 chairs, a nice TV stand for living room and a small set of drawers for her daughter's bedroom also his prices are very reasonable all in great Job Andy.

I hired Tomasz to renovation my shower room. He removed old fittings, ran new plumbing and tiled the wall. However, he scratched my new unit, put paint on my bare wood door frame, put the shower up squint, fitted tile trim with silicon, left holes in the wall, built a pipe box too big, covered it with ugly correx, lost screws to fasten the towel rail to the wall so it's loose, and left it leaking, and installed tray in wrong place in shower. I had to undo much of his work and finish the job myself. :-(

After 3 weeks of being let down and messed about by local roofers following Storm Eowyn, I posted on here and Colin got in touch. He made an appointment to come through, take a look and give a quote and he kept his word and arrived bang on time. He gave a good price and agreed to come and do the work in 2 days time, which he did, again bang on time and despite terrible weather, saving us from further water ingress that day. Excellent work & I have no hesitation in recommending Colin 100%. Will use again!

Lee and his team did a great job on replacing our roof - scaffolding was up and everything renewed within a few days. Communication was good and we got updates about when the work was happening and when the team would be arriving. They worked almost without stopping each day even though it was freezing weather, left everything tidy and disposed of waste, and showed us pictures of progress and the completed roof. Really happy with their work and it's good to have peace of mind with a big job done.
