Nick will probably visit your home within a couple of hours of posting the job (making you feel confident that your job will be finished as quickly as you need it to be) send you links to the materials to be purchased, ask for deposit and then stop all forms of communication. We hired Tim to replace our guttering on the front of our house - he told us that the fascia’s needed doing too so we trusted him and paid £1000 for the job. Within a few weeks it was clear that something wasn’t right as rain was pouring from the guttering. We had him back out to fix it but it still wasn’t resolved. We arranged 2 more times for him to visit and he didn’t turn up or communicate re. attending. We paid a huge amount and now probably need to hire someone else to come and correct the issue
