The job was a new app-controlled thermostat for the boiler. I was disappointed with how and where the receiver was wired on the wood board and the plug wire in the hall. That’s why I’m giving 3 stars—it would have been 2, as I wasn’t happy with your response when I raised my concerns, but I’ll overlook that. He fitted the water pump on 2 August and charged me £550. It never worked adequately from day one. Repeated promises that he'd come to replace it. I last had such a promise in early December. It's now the end of January. I'm a pensioner now, so have to wait to pay someone else to fit a new one - they quoted me only £250-300 ... when I can afford it in March, I'll have it done. I don't expect I'll hear from him again. Very disappointed to say the least
