My name is Akos, I am originally an architect but I have a company called Zebra Services here in the South of England including South London. I do a lot of things by trade but my favourite occupation and our specialty is roofing, guttering, chimney and decorating, and painting, this includes minor plasterboard work, doors, skirting boards etc. But I wouldd rather have them talk about what others think of us: Akos and his colleague that worked on our house were thorough professionals and took great pride in the work they do. I hired this company after a £1,500 quote from Anthony, who called the job "very bad." I trusted their rating. The two-hour job—replacing ridge tiles, repointing, and waste removal—ended up costing £1,800, including £300 VAT, which seemed high. Anthony promised an invoice but didn’t send it until I contacted Rated People. The invoice was flawed: no VAT number, my name misspelled, and an absurd total of £18,000. After admitting he couldn’t legally charge VAT, he offered a £300 refund, then stopped responding

Ken was by far the most professional builder that came round to quote for the work. He explained what would be required to complete the work. Including building regs and structural engineer requirements. Therefore we were pleased that ken's quote was slightly cheaper than the others we recieved. The work was completed to agreed timescales and a very high standard with minimal impact and fuss. I have no hesitation in recommending ken and will contact him first before posting a job for future planned work
