George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Ken came round, agreed a price and date to do the work then just didn't turn up. Not the best really.
Quoted and arrived on time, we never proceeded with the work but there is no option to remove job or decline without filling this in. Have written to Rated people...the Plonkers didn't respond. Rated people t ssers

Please dont use, you will get ripped off. I was told to expect a payment of £60 or so. The work needed one more detector than planned so would have been fine with little extra payment, however I checked and the materials we have been double charged. So the end price we paid was 3x more than discussed. We definitely will not be using this service again and not recommended. Honesty goes a long way to loyalty.
I am awestruck by this guy. We discussed and agreed a price for the job. We lined up decorators and carpet fitters to follow his work and prepared teh spaces for him to work. On the morning he was due to start he texted me to tell me he could no longer do the job as "my van is off the road" and "I can't contact my so-called partner Tim". I tried to call him straight back to see if we could salvage the project either by hiring a van for the few days needed or finding a labourer to help. JUST A TEXT! Be wary!
Very pleased with all the work, did exactly what we wanted and more. Very helpfull as required disabled access . Reliable and kept you informed of what was being done next. Would recommend RJ Building and will have them back for other projects.

Pathetic behaviour of the owner, I requested services for which i was asked to pay half of the money upfront, the guys turned up did not completed the requested job by saying its too late now we have to drive two hours to go back home? Never turned up to do rest of the work! Instead damaged my property never apologised for that neither returned to even check it. Avoid and dont pay in advance
Long delay to fit unit with no contact for weeks.Screw put through water pipe, causing damage to flooring and on repair of this,more damage caused to flooring.Poor quality wood used, item not stained when requested. Cannot use a nail gun sucessfully, nails sticking out on top of unit.Weeks of no answer to calls to put things right. Compensation eventually offered for damages and hassle caused, then no answer when trying to collect compensation.Very poor service.I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy.
