The work itself was very good, and while on the job, they were quick, consistent and polite. Problems occurred with finishing off and a number of issues are still outstanding. There were mitigating circumstances - serious illness in the company - but communications with us have been erratic and we are left with a few outstanding issues that we have to deal with ourselves.
SOUTHAM PLASTERING
BE WARNED! OK plasterer, APPALLING BUILDER. Put rubber roof on when wet, so now roof is blistering/bubbling. Tried to use piece of aluminum and wood to hold up roof--told by builder inspector he needed lintel. Lied to us, ignored inspector & tried to carry on using aluminum. Tired to get us to pay for insulation included in the quote. Got angry when we asked him not to smoke in our house. Three weeks after said work would be done (and with no changes to original job), walked off job without work completed.

Its sometimes hard to find a builder who you can feel you can trust as you hear so many bad stories. So I'm happy to help any future customers of Gregory tick that box when they are considering using him. Simply put, hes an honest guy. Not once did he try to pull the wool over my eyes and operated with complete transparency. No build goes without a few hitches and mine was no exception, but when we had problems they were quickly overcome.
