The quick way to find a local Planting specialist in Mansfield

In October, quoted £800 to level and turf 80 sqm. Left the soil to harden. He came in April and remeasured. This time, it magically increased to 96 sqm and wanted £960. After completing without any levelling, there was still an area left. When asked to lay the excess turf in the truck, said it is for another customer and left. When I measured the turfed area, it came to 81 sqm. Contacted him to return the 15 sqm, wants another £200. Now asking not to contact, so leaving this feedback. Untrustworthy workman.

Jon wasn't very polite when he contacted me, I didn't understand where he said he had purchased the job. He explained, I then asked for a quote, initially I accepted but then had something come up where I had to put the job on hold. He then rang me and hurled unpleasant comments at me for not letting him know when I did email him saying I had to cancel the job. Not very polite when communicating on the phone. Sorry for rubbish review but not made me feel like I want him to come to my house for any job!

There would have been no point in complaining directly. You had made it clear you had other work. I was asked by Rated People for my views and I gave them. How unfair or not is entirely subjective. As the potential customer, surely my views should be accepted and taken into account by your business be them good or bad. I do not propose to continue with this email thread. Better spending my time finding a gardener.

Turned up and worked hard, sometimes in really bad weather. Removed years of undergrowth and left us with a garden that will be a lot easier to maintain. Left everything clean and tidy.Really friendly team who worked around our holidays to leave us with a good lawn.

Lowes Construction installed a bathroom for us initially the work appeared to be good but he took 4 times the length of time quoted, he asked for his money leaving some of the jobs unfinished and then would not respond to our calls, e mails or letters asking when the work would be finished. When notified that the shower leaked, sinks were incorrectly positioned, damaged panel not replaced. he did not return to repair any of the problems raised. I would not reccomend anyone to employ this company.

Nice friendly guy, came round to look at the job, arranged to come back to fix the wall. I rang the day before to confirm he was coming but he said he Wouldn't be able to fix the wall (ever!!) as his truck had broken down.

Original estimate was 15 days work (continuous from start date) - started in April, did not finish until End of September! Finishing quality extremely poor Regularly failed to turn up when expected, did not undertake all work quoted or promised - rarely if ever cleared up after themselves. Overall hugely disappointed
