This firm sub contracted out the work to a local plumber/carpenter who I found difficult to contact. I needed a new shower as he said he couldn`t repair it. I selected the cheapest one as I am upgrading my bathroom later this year. He couldn`t get it straight away so I selected a dearer one which he fitted. He then told me he was going away the next day. If I hadn`t selected the dearer one I would still be waiting! There is some moisture leaking but I really don`t want him again so I`ll wait and see.

Review for ACL Roofing Ltd I had a very disappointing experience with ACL Roofing Ltd. Initially, they quoted £750, but after a site visit, the cost increased to £1,150. Despite the price increase, the work was not done properly. Instead of completing the agreed brickwork, they used excessive fire foam, and the repointing was poorly executed, leaving noticeable gaps. When I raised concerns, the team was unprofessional and resistant to fixing the issues. They were more focused on getting paid.

Nic and his friend did a great job transforming my rear garden. Nic responded to my advert immediately and with a competitive price. I did not know him but read his reviews online which were all good. He communicated honestly and I felt reassured so I paid an agreed deposit amount on the first day. Nic and his colleague removed all the old concrete slabs and replaced them with attractive ceramic ones along with the manhole lids. They worked hard and left the site very clean and tidy. Brilliant! Communication and attention to detail was outstanding all the way through. Zoltan and Tabita are lovely people too. They asked lots of questions to make sure everything was just how we wanted. They come across as highly professional and take pride in their work.
