Hired James to remove existing shower and replace with new. When he had finished up I paid him the agreed £250 thinking all was OK. However when my partner used the shower later that day the water flow was poor and started running cold after a few minutes. I have tried to contact James on several occasions and he either arranges to come but doesn't turn up or ignores my messages completely. Apparently another job ran long the first time, and an emergency call out the second. This firm sub contracted out the work to a local plumber/carpenter who I found difficult to contact. I needed a new shower as he said he couldn`t repair it. I selected the cheapest one as I am upgrading my bathroom later this year. He couldn`t get it straight away so I selected a dearer one which he fitted. He then told me he was going away the next day. If I hadn`t selected the dearer one I would still be waiting! There is some moisture leaking but I really don`t want him again so I`ll wait and see.
