I put a job up get quoted £180 for Wednesday... Actually we can't do Wednesday we'll do Thursday. Thursday- we are running behind we'll be with you first thing Friday. I'm asked again what's there. I offer to send pictures. Actually the price is £250. If it's half van the price £180, full van price £250... first time mentioning that. So after messing about for days now I'm expected to find an extra £70. I just cancelled. Friday was my last day. Whose to say they'd turn up! Went with someone else who did.

Our build prerequisites were to divide a room & close an open archway, build two extra walls, move steps and a handrail, put in two entrances with doors for the new build and paint & carpet this area. Matthew (MDCC Construction) was qualified and very helpful – giving us good advice. He is an honest, tidy and thorough builder, willing to accommodate the building manager's questions and happy to make amendments. We were thrilled with the speed and finish of this build, and we will definitely use them again.

Reasonable job but following issues. 1) Expensive maybe 30% higher than competition feel ripped off. 2) wall corners are showing large cracks after only 1 week. 3) I had to ask for them to clean up after themselves and also put dust sheets down at the start. 4) Offered hose so they could mix away from the house, but they refused and proceeded to mix holding bucket up the wall damaging my box hedging. 5) rendered walls have not been done below skirting board level, so i need to fill gaps myself in the wall.
