Matthew overcharged for materials. He told me he paid £40 at Screwfix for the spikes. I was shocked and asked for a copy of the receipt but he didn't provide it. I did pay him in cash for the work then checked the price at Screwfix. The cost is £29.99 not £40. As a result, I cannot recommend him.

Following initial problems with the work, the roofing guys returned to put right the shortfalls which closed the job satisfactorily. However I had to oversee the work completion myself via Google Translate due to no instructions and poor communications to the work team. Some of the work was good like the trimming of the shrub and bushes. The weeding was hopeless as they have not been pulled up by the roots and some of it was not touched at all. Some of my plants were trampled on and the rose stems forcefully pushed through the obelisk were broken in their hurry to finish by five. I would give the lowest score possible to these sharks! Came at 2.30 on a Friday and worked on roof in dark and rain! Left job in a terrible state both internally and externally .Promised to come back next morning and rectify and plaster all the mess they made on the walls snd ceiling.Yhey have not answered any communications despite trying several times. In good faith I paid them half the money but will never see them again so I have to now find a reputable roofer to fix. BEWARE they are SCUM.
