They said it would take 2 hours to fix. We agreed a price. Extortionate but it was an emergency. They left after 30 minutes. But it wasn't fixed. I called them back and they wanted to charge me more money but I refused. They tried again and left after another 30 minutes and said they would not return. The leak was not fixed. If anything, it is worst. When I asked for an invoice, they said it would be more money because the money I had paid them didn't included VAT. I thought it should have. So no invoice.

Ricky and his team did a fantastic job replacing our felt flat roof with Firestone rubber. His work included installing all new trims around the edge of the roof so the house looks much smarter now. After some very heavy rain the roof is performing very well. Ricky has provided us with a 20 year guarantee which gives us superb piece of mind. Very happy to recommend Ricky and his team (his also repaired the roofs on two other properties in our family so we've seen plenty of his work!).

Just to add to this, they had already been back twice to resolve issues & the second time was 4-5 hours trying to stop the drawers from sticking. 30 mins after they left they were sticking again. Just wish I could post pictures of the finished article here ??

After completing the work I requested a receipt for the cash and was told it would be in the post and he couldn't sign one now. Still no receipt or contact after almost 4 weeks. A follow up was promised with extra things they could attach to the windows to prevent whistling and to confirm work was satisfactory, they never returned. Good start disappointing finish.
w/s developments left my garage conversion in a right state had to get rid, i had to hire a proper builder to put right there mess not recommended do not hire

Terrible, feel let down and ripped off. There was x6 ridge tiles to replace, not one has been replaced, has left cracks, and holes, am having to get someone else out to repair the shoddy work that was done. I have pictures to prove absolute disgraceful workmanship.

He did the job he was contracted for promptly, in one day he was able to assess the roof and find where the problem was. He came back the same afternoon to complete the job and it was completed in a couple of hours. He was very clear with the quotation and there was not surprises on the final price.
This man came to replace a gutter. He never gave me any receipt,he said he would drop it off later as he didn't have a receipt book. With first big rainfall the gutter started leaking. I contacted him twice,he said he would come to fix it,which never happened. Waste of time and money.

AVOID!.... The proprietor took a deposit from me and then strung me along without giving me a start date for the work. When I eventually cancelled the job, he refused to refund the deposit. His company cannot be contacted via the "website", his social media links at the top right and bottom left of the page don't link to Macklin Glazing social media accounts. Macklin Glazing is also not registered anywhere.
