Agreed a cash price with Fraser for new roof and guttering with all the guarantees, but when it came to pay he then tells me if i wanted a guarantee I’d have to pay the vat. Don’t get me wrong the lads worked well but very messy as they just through the tiles off the roof into the skip instead of using a chute. Needed him back to sort guttering as it had come apart but got told when I’m next in the area needless to say I’m still waiting months later. Beware!! Don’t pay cash.

Remove wallpaper from hall, stairs and landing, plaster walls and ceiling and paint. Plaster walls and ceilings in living room and cloakroom and paint. Extremely courteous workmen, who turned up on time each day, worked continuously though out the day with only a short break for lunch. Nothing was too much trouble. Keen to do a good job. Job ran over time but this was because of problems uncovered when wallpaper removed. We were delighted with finished rooms etc.

Job was done well, all clean and tidy finish. Maybe a bit over priced, £250 for just over half a days work for 1 person, but would use again due to professionalism and reliability.

Wow - top class plumber, service at a reasonable cost. Prior to engaging JK plumbing, our ongoing bathroom project had overran by 2 weeks with lots of quality issues from the previous plumber. I contacted JK plumbing on a Saturday, 24hrs later basic functionality was re-instated, and by Thursday the full refurbishment work was completed and all the carryover issues fully corrected. Quality of job was top notch. I will 100% be happy to deal with JK plumbing again, highly recommend without hesitation.

First class job by John and the guys. Turned up on time to view the job, very knowledgeable and thorough assessment. Work completed to our agreed timescale and to a high standard, photos supplied to show before/after, important on a roof! Reasonably priced and very pleasant. Would highly recommend - in fact just had them back to do some more work.

Quick response to job request. John kept in touch to advise on timeframe. Acoustic panels were fitted to one wall and I am very pleased with the result. Time and care were taken to achieve a great finish. John also helped out with another job that we had not previously discussed. Very happy with the job and the competitive cost. First class, was contracted to fix a barn roof, has ended up with entire new build contract, due to good advice and service. Honest and keeps me in the right direction as I am on my own doing a new build, employees very good and great at adapting ideas to create what you want with tight budgets. Very pleased and would highly recommend this contractor. Cheery and stops me from panic mode if the unexpected turns up as solutions are worked out without sending a budget to spiral.
