Craig got in touch quickly, gave me a rough estimate over the phone and answered all my questions. Surveyor arrived on time, gave instant quote. Price was good. Michael and (another) Craig turned up to do the job on the day, time given. Good, tidy job. Can't fault anything, from start to finish!! Would recommend!

George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Albeit I didn't go ahead, I couldn't fault the interest and quick response from Dave. If I do go ahead at some point his number is defo in my book.
I paid Phil £195 to complete the job. The roof ended up leaking worse so I tried to get him back out to fix the problems but he ignored my initial calls then called me and told me "it's impossible that it's leaking worse" I had to get another roofer out to do a temporary fix which should be sufficient for several years, this cost me £65. I was told that £195 for the initial job was too high as "the materials would have only cost a few quid and it would have only taken a couple of hours" I wouldn't recommend
Carried out some structural work on the front of my house after a really competitive quote. Arrived when stated and completed the job in two days. Very professional company and did a great job. Would use again.

Jamie was on time to give me a quote. When I asked him about the negative reviews he had received he explained that on one of the jobs the customer was a substance user and so would not deal with them and rated jobs would not remove the comments!! Jamie is a very likable guy and goes the extra mile. His workmanship is also excellent. I will be using him again.

Great job done by the guys at CKJ Construction, from the initial consultation through to the work itself. The job was a combination of pulling up, cleaning, re-laying and pointing tiles around the perimeter of the house as well as removing some bushes, putting down turf and installing new sleepers. All work done to a good standard with attention to detail and at a fair price. Would definitely use again and would recommend for a wide variety of jobs. Thank you!

Don't hire - he quotes price (that then increases once he's started work), doesn't show up for weeks on end - despite promises to come, Then, after payment, disappears and ghosts the customer leaving the job unfinished - AVOID!
