It was a pleasure to have him on site. Our repointing was a horrible job to do but he did it without complaint and we are delighted with the results. Gareth first started the business in 2005 with a view to provide clients across North Wales and Cheshire with kitchens. In the last 10 years the business has diversified and now accommodates a scheme of works within construction from kitchens to bathrooms, gardens to bedrooms, fire and flood damaged properties and more. Gareth employs several staff and subcontracts to NICEIC registered Electricians and GAS SAFE registered gas engineers. Therefore, GMS can offer project managing and the client only needs to converse with one trade [GMS] rather than multiple. Thus, taking the stress out of the job.

This job was a complete and complicated rewire of a large old farmhouse, including various extras such as security alarm, boiler and underfloor heating controls and renovating an old Victorian lantern. Chris has done an excellent job, and even though it turned out to be more awkward than he expected (beams in unusual places, ceilings that came down, boiler wiring being non-standard etc) he honoured the original quote and took the time to make sure it was done properly. The standard of work is very good and Chris perseveres with jobs until he is satisfied with the result. An example is the great care he took with the positioning of the kitchen lights. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

What stood out was that Mike & Chris arrived on time, the one time it wasn't possible I was informed straight away. Unusual in my experience with others. The work was carried out exactly as I wanted, I was consulted several times to make sure we were on the same page and great lengths were taken to make the work neat and tidy, as if it was their own property. Mike & Chris were both very nice and easy to get on with and Mike even checked I was happy with the work a few weeks later. I am happy to recommend.
