I employed David McAdam of Protection Plus as a handyman. He responded to my job details when no other individuals did. He and his colleague came at the agreed time, assessed the jobs and negotiated a reasonable price for the list of small jobs I had. I enjoyed the added bonus of them being able to do the work the same day that we negotiated the price. I found them to be courteous, tidy and very efficient. I would employ them again and plan to recommend them to friends and family.

Euan replaced my cat flap and front gate\fence in East Kilbride. He was reliable, punctual and did a fabulous job with no mess. I would definitely hire him again for future joinery work.

We were delighted with Adam’s work in stripping woodchip wallpaper from a large room in our house, then treating the walls, repapering and painting. Adam is extremely reliable, hard working and polite and we would be happy to recommend him.

Keiran did that rare thing of turning up exactly when he said he would. Tidy and friendly, and reasonably priced. He removed a glass pane from door and fitted wooden replacement before installing cat flap - looks smart and exactly what I wanted; he also installed MDF shelves in a walk in cupboard - not exactly complex, but affordable and exactly what I needed.

I am very pleased with the service recieved from Alex. He quicky provided a competitive quote and arranged to get the work done on a Saturday morning. It involved the repair of an external door and he moved other jobs around so he could get to this sooner because it affected the security of the building. The repair looks great and he has painted the door frame for us. Alex even agreed to adjusting a door closer whilst there at no extra charge. I will use McLaurin Joinery again.

Andy recently completed decking for us and also a small inside job to box in electric metres. We are very pleased with the finished jobs. Andy showed up when expected and finished the job when expected too. He has done a brilliant job and transformed what was a old crumbling patio into an amazing raised decking which is safe for the kids and will be great for sitting out. I can't recommend Andy enough. Hired PH3 home improvements to carry out some plastering work for me.Ricky was fantastic from the start of the process to completing the job.
