George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Jim was fantastic - fitted 3 internal doors for us with no nonsense. Even when one door proved difficult (leading to the job taking longer than he thought and eating into his weekend) he took great care with his work and didn't finish until he was completely happy with it. Keiran did that rare thing of turning up exactly when he said he would. Tidy and friendly, and reasonably priced. He removed a glass pane from door and fitted wooden replacement before installing cat flap - looks smart and exactly what I wanted; he also installed MDF shelves in a walk in cupboard - not exactly complex, but affordable and exactly what I needed.

I am very pleased with the service recieved from Alex. He quicky provided a competitive quote and arranged to get the work done on a Saturday morning. It involved the repair of an external door and he moved other jobs around so he could get to this sooner because it affected the security of the building. The repair looks great and he has painted the door frame for us. Alex even agreed to adjusting a door closer whilst there at no extra charge. I will use McLaurin Joinery again.
