I got a quote from AL Plasterer. Unlike a number of builders, he came out at the appointed time and was polite and listened to my ideas. Although I went with a different quote based on details and costs, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone else who needs a quote.

The work took longer than I expected but I am delighted with the result: top quality at a competitive price. Donal came out within 24 hours and gave a more than competitive quote , This father and son (Brett) team are not only excellent traders men but are generally just lovely people!! They arrived when they said they would, and got on with the job. !! Worked solid through the 3 days it took to complete my job and the standard was first class !! We agreed a price he turned up the first day and filled in some places but then didn’t turn up again until I called him. He then decided he could not do part of the job so we renegotiated the price minus the rendering the fascia work. He put filler everywhere and left so much dust and filler and then again txted me to say he wanted more money to complete job , the same as original price but he was doing half the work, I said no and I didn’t hear from him again. He left the exterior in a terrible state.

He replied for my painting quote. On the day of work, when he started filling minor cracks, i need to repeatedly go and intervene and need to show that he kept on missing to fill several cracks in each rooms, then also explained no point to start painting with these open cracks. Then within 30 minutes of start of the work, he was missing at site. Just waste of time and now delays in finishing my works. Not show any positive attitude to improve on his mistakes nor dedication to complete on scheduled works.

Turned out to be a huge job in the end and project escalated which I was given full explanations and photo evidence of. Job timelines could have been better but could not fault work quality.
