George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. the worst job ever i have seen i hired anthony as a professional to do some finishing touches on venetian plaster but he didnt do it he took a deposit then he disappeared for three weeks telling stories that he was sick or he didn't have time when he finally came to do the job he did it even worse than before came with one can of filler and made my walls a ugly color arguing that they couldn't be done better didn't return the deposit! i don't recommend it to anyone, do not pay deposit this person

Sam was called out at short notice to fix a problem with an en-suite bathroom floor. Due to ingress of water, the existing floor had rotted and was in urgent need of repair. Sam expertly replaced the damaged subfloor with marine plywood and secured it to the rafters. The existing tiled flooring was replaced with attractive light-oak vinyl flooring. The job required the removal and refitting of a toilet which was also expertly completed. Thanks, Sam, for your hard work and craftsmanship.

Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Jeff Payne of South West Stone to anyone. Mr Payne was punctual. Mr Payne was a pleasure to have working at my home. The bonus was that he thoroughly cleaned up any mess he made which was indeed minimal! Nothing was too much trouble and he was extremely helpful. The work done appears to be all I wanted. We hired Gowan PM to decorate our first project of 7 apartments. They are so much more than your average tradesmen; multi skilled, (great tiling and bathroom installation) tidy (put our team to shame), when we changed a main colour they were fab and just took it in their stride. We forget to order materials so they collected it for us. The quality of the work is second to none and has been admired by all. I have no doubt that it will be their work will sell our project.
